Hey folks, I’ve got some exciting news from the automobile industry! The BPM car dealership group, founded by race car driver Patrick Bornhauseur in 2004, has just received the green light from the competition authority to acquire four Mercedes dealerships in the Bordeaux region. These dealerships, located in Bègles, Bordeaux, La Teste-de-Buch, and Mérignac, were previously managed by Mercedes Benz Bordeaux & Paris. And get this, these four dealerships bring in a whopping annual revenue of around 96 million euros!
Now, let me tell you a bit more about BPM. This growing group has over 120 dealerships in France, Switzerland, and Monaco, with a total of 2,500 employees. And get this, their annual revenue is a staggering 1.2 billion euros! They deal with all sorts of vehicles, from cars for individuals and businesses to agricultural equipment and motorcycles. And now, with the acquisition of these four Mercedes dealerships, BPM’s connection with the German brand is getting even stronger. They now have a total of 38 Mercedes dealerships under their belt!
I bet you’re wondering how this deal came about. Well, it was advised by the law firms Cornet Vincent Segurel (representing BPM) and Baker McKenzie (representing Mercedes Benz). These guys know their stuff!
So there you have it, folks. Big things are happening in the automobile industry, and BPM is at the forefront of it all. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
