Hey folks, have you heard the latest news in the world of hockey? Neil Crowe has just been appointed as the head coach of the Isle of Man men’s national squad! He’s taking over from Jon Whiting, who did an amazing job for the past nine years. Under Whiting’s leadership, the team secured a fantastic fourth place in the A Division of the 2023 England Hockey County Championships. Now, it’s Crowe’s turn to lead the charge and take the team to even greater heights!
Crowe is thrilled about his new role and is eager to build on the team’s recent achievements. He’s grateful to Whiting for his hard work and dedication over the years. Crowe’s first game as coach is just around the corner, happening this weekend on October 28th. The Isle of Man men’s team will be facing off against Timperley Men’s 2nds in the England Hockey Men’s Tier 2 Championships.
If you’re a hockey fan, you won’t want to miss this exciting match! It’s all happening at the NSC in Douglas at 1pm.
