Wow, you won’t believe what this Solihull teenager achieved at an international kickboxing competition! Kaifah Imran, a 14-year-old kickboxer from Castle Bromwich, brought home an astonishing six gold medals and one silver representing England. The competition, called the ICO World Combat Sports Martial Arts Championships, took place in Hull and featured over 550 top fighters from around the world. Kaifah not only topped the individual medal standings but also left her competitors in awe.
Kaifah’s incredible performance included winning gold in two light contact and two ring continuous categories. But she didn’t stop there! She also claimed gold in K1 contact and kick light, and even secured a silver in the martial box light (tatami) category. It’s clear that Kaifah’s hard work and dedication paid off.
Kaifah has been training in kickboxing since she was eight years old at USKA kickboxing. Under the guidance of coaches Neil Kelly and Qasim Beg, she has honed her skills and become a force to be reckoned with. She trains for four to five hours a day, six or seven times a week. That’s some serious commitment!
Not only is Kaifah an exceptional athlete, but she is also a junior coach and role model to the younger members of her club. She even assists with ninja classes. Talk about multi-talented!
Kaifah’s success at such a young age is truly inspiring. She has proven that with passion, hard work, and determination, anything is possible. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next in her kickboxing journey. Congratulations, Kaifah!
