A music venue in Cleckheaton has recently celebrated its one year anniversary by sponsoring the main stand at Liversedge Football Club. The Loft, located on Northgate, has been hosting various events to mark their first birthday, including the Turn Cleckheaton Pink weekend to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. As a result of their sponsorship, The Loft now has their name displayed above the primary seating area at Liversedge FC’s Leading Edge Clayborn ground.
Sharon Osborne, a director at Liversedge FC, expressed her appreciation for local businesses supporting the football club. She extended her best wishes and thanks to Billie Burch and Dee Brown, the owners of The Loft, as they enter their second year of business.
In addition to the sponsorship, Liversedge FC will be hosting their own ‘Pink Day’ during their next home match against Stockton Town. The event aims to raise money for the Breast Cancer Now charity, with collection buckets available around the ground and wristbands on sale.
Dee, one of the owners of The Loft, expressed her delight and pride in being able to sponsor the local football team. She also thanked Liversedge FC for their support in organizing the Turn Cleckheaton Pink event and wished them success in their upcoming game against Stockton.
To further support the cancer charity, Dee and Billie have released their own calendar, priced at £15. For more information about the calendar, interested individuals can email [email protected]. For sponsorship opportunities at Liversedge FC, enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
