Hey folks! Guess what? Ashford United has just announced their latest signing – midfielder David Ozobia! This guy was previously signed by Erith & Belvedere in September, but it seems like he didn’t get much playing time. Before that, he was with Herne Bay, where he played in 21 matches but couldn’t help his team stay in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier league.
You know what’s interesting? David Ozobia actually started his football journey as a youth player for Charlton Athletic. He also played for Millwall and Queens Park Rangers in his youth days. After that, he went on to play for Harrow Borough and Aylesbury United. But his real breakthrough came when he joined VCD Athletic, where he made 20 appearances in the Pitching In Isthmian South East league and even scored two goals!
