The field for these tournaments is stacked with talented teams, including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Mississippi State, and more. It’s going to be a tough competition, but we believe in our Rebels!
Did you know that the Rebels have a strong history in the Roberta Alison Invitational? They have competed in the tournament 11 times in the past 12 seasons, only missing out in 2020. As for the John Cade Classic, this will be the team’s second time participating in the tournament.
Let’s also give a shoutout to Reka Zadori, who is just one singles win away from reaching 50 wins in her career. This win will also move her into 37th place on Ole Miss’ all-time career singles wins list. We’re rooting for you, Reka!
In other news, the Rebels recently sent a singles player and a doubles team to the All-American Championships. While they faced tough opponents, they put up a great fight and gained valuable experience. We’re proud of their performance!
Last week, the team participated in the June Stewart Invitational, where they showcased their skills and came out with impressive wins. Freshman Andrea Nova made a strong debut, defeating all three of her opponents. Way to go, Andrea!
As the fall tournament schedule comes to a close, the Rebels still have a few more exciting events lined up. After the Roberta Alison Invitational and the John Cade Classic, some Rebels will head to the Auburn Fall Invite, while others will compete at the NC State Invite. Let’s finish the fall season strong!
