The 2023 World Golf Awards recently took place in Abu Dhabi, and five PGA Branded Properties were recognized for their excellence in golf tourism. The event, now in its 10th year, celebrates the best in the golf tourism market and brings together industry leaders from around the world. The winners are determined through votes from golf industry professionals, the media, and the public.
Among the winners were the PGA’s newest Branded Property, Golf Adriatic (PGA National Croatia), which was named the ‘Best Course’ in Croatia. The Kempinski Golf Adriatic also received recognition as the country’s ‘Best Golf Hotel’. Aphrodite Hills (PGA National Cyprus) was awarded the ‘Best Course’ in Cyprus, while Oaks Prague (PGA National Czech Republic) won the same accolade for the Czech Republic for the second consecutive year.
In addition, the PGA Sultan at Antalya Golf Club (PGA National Turkey) was honored as Turkey’s Best Golf Course, and The Belfry (PGA National England) was named England’s Best Golf Hotel for the fourth time in five years.
