Trump International Golf Links Wins ‘Best Golf Course in Scotland’ Award

Trump International Golf Links in Balmedie, Aberdeenshire, has been named the Best Golf Course in Scotland for 2023 at the prestigious World Golf Awards in Abu Dhabi. The award recognizes excellence in golf tourism and celebrates the best golf courses, clubhouses, tour promoters, hotels, and golfing destinations from around the world. Sarah Malone, the executive vice president of Trump International Scotland, expressed immense pride in receiving the coveted award. She highlighted the team’s dedication and the stunning dunes that make the course truly majestic.

Trump International Golf Links, which opened in 2012, has quickly gained a reputation as one of the most prestigious golf courses globally. In 2023, it hosted the Legends Tour flagship event, which was hailed as the best tournament ever held by the tour. The success of the event led to Trump International Scotland being selected as the host venue for the signature event until 2026.

In addition to the accolades for Trump International Golf Links, Trump Turnberry Resort in Ayrshire was also recognized at the World Golf Awards. It was crowned the World’s Best Halfway House, further cementing its reputation as a top golfing destination.

The future looks bright for Trump International Scotland, as they have recently broken ground on another world-class championship links among the Great Dunes of Scotland. They also had the privilege of hosting the Legends Tour, PGA Seniors Championship, the world’s oldest seniors’ tournament, in 2023.
