The Yeshiva University men’s basketball team faced a unique challenge as they balanced their regular routines with the realities of the Israel-Hamas war. With players who have loved ones in Israel and some who have served in the Israel Defense Forces, the team found solace in prayer and supporting each other. The players, all Jewish, come from different backgrounds and use basketball as an escape from the ongoing conflict. Despite the difficulties, they remain resilient and determined to represent Yeshiva proudly on the court.
