BU Women’s Ice Hockey Faces Off Against Maine

Nadia Mattivi, a graduate student, was named the Army ROTC Hockey East Defender of the Week for her outstanding performance in the Syracuse series. She scored a goal and assisted on three others. Another standout player is sophomore Sydney Johnson, who also had an incredible game against Syracuse, contributing two goals and two assists. So far this season, Johnson leads the team with five points.

The Terriers have shown great teamwork, with multiple players getting on the scoresheet. In fact, eight different players have scored the team’s 11 goals. Talk about spreading the love!

One area where BU has excelled is in faceoffs. They currently have the best faceoff percentage in the league, with an impressive 54.6%. Winning those faceoffs gives them a great advantage in controlling the game.
