Ian Foster has been nominated for World Rugby Coach of the Year, and a lot has changed for him in the past 15 months. After a rough start with five losses from six matches, Foster turned things around and led the All Blacks to another Rugby Championship crown and the retention of the Bledisloe Cup against the Wallabies. But his finest moment came at the Rugby World Cup, where the All Blacks overcame Ireland and Argentina to reach the final. Foster will face tough competition from Jacques Nienaber, the coach of defending champions the Springboks, as well as Andy Farrell of Ireland and Simon Raiwalui of Fiji. The winners will be announced on October 29, the day after the Rugby World Cup final.
