Jorge Martin is back! After two challenging races, Jorge Martin secures his fifth consecutive podium finish. In an intense battle with the current world champion, he proves once again that he is the one to beat. The qualifying session saw the top four riders break the old track record, with the two Mooney VR46 riders showing impressive performance after recovering from their recent injuries. However, it was Jorge Martin who claimed his fourth pole position of the season. The gaps in Thailand are tight, with only 6 tenths of a second separating the top 18 riders in the practice sessions. Despite strong performances from Aprilia, only Aleix Espargaro could convert their training results into a good qualifying position. The championship leader, Francesco Bagnaia, had a poor start and dropped back in the first lap. He managed to cling on to ninth place in the early stages but later benefited from the battle between Johann Zarco and Alex Marquez to move up to sixth. With only 18 points separating him from Jorge Martin, Bagnaia will have to take risks in the Grand Prix to regain the lead. The Moto2 qualifying session saw Pedro Acosta with a comfortable lead of 56 points, putting him in a strong position to secure the championship. In Moto3, Deniz Öncü claimed his fourth pole position of the season, showing his ambitions for the title. The race results saw Jorge Martin take the top spot, followed by Brad Binder and Luca Marini. In Moto2, Fermin Aldeguer secured pole position, while Deniz Öncü claimed victory in Moto3.
