Hey there golf fans! It’s time for the Pac-12 Golf Weekly Awards, and this week we’ve got some exciting news to share. Let’s dive right in!
First up, we have the Pac-12 Men’s Golfer of the Week for October 31, 2023. And the winner is… Hunter Swanson from Colorado! This sophomore from Denver, Colo., really impressed with his performance at the Ka’anapali Classic. He shot a fantastic 6-under-par 207 (69-71-67) and finished tied for 24th place. Way to go, Hunter!
But that’s not all. Hunter’s final round was truly something special. He managed to improve his position by 20 spots with a flawless round of 4-under 67. That’s right, not a single bogey! And it gets even better. Hunter’s outstanding performance helped the Buffaloes achieve their lowest team total of the season, a remarkable 12-under 272 in the third round. Talk about a team player!
This is Hunter’s first-ever Pac-12 weekly honor, and we’re sure it won’t be his last. Keep up the great work, Hunter!
And let’s not forget to mention the other nominees for this week’s award. Well, actually, there were none. Hunter’s performance was just that impressive!
That’s all for this week’s Pac-12 Golf Weekly Awards. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and highlights from the world of college golf. Until next time, keep swinging!
