Medvedev Denies Swearing at Crowd, Claims He Was Just Checking His Nails

Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev has been accused of swearing at the crowd during his match at the Paris Masters. However, Medvedev has denied the allegations, claiming that he was simply checking his nails. The 27-year-old was booed throughout his match with Grigor Dimitrov and even refused to play at one point. After his loss, Medvedev was caught on camera making a gesture towards the crowd, which was met with more boos. When questioned about it, he insisted that he was just checking his nails and would never disrespect the crowd. This is not the first time Medvedev has faced a hostile crowd, as he had a similar incident at the US Open earlier this year. Despite the controversy, Medvedev has had a successful season, reaching the final in New York.
