Yesterday evening, there was a collision between a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Aliothstrasse and Heiligholzstrasse. The motorcyclist, a 72-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with various injuries. It seems that the 74-year-old man driving the car was coming from Aliothstrasse and was attempting to turn left into Heiligholzstrasse. In doing so, he failed to yield to the motorcyclist who had the right of way from the left. The impact was head-on, causing the motorcyclist to fall and sustain several injuries. After receiving initial treatment at the scene, he was transported to the hospital. The collision resulted in traffic delays in the area to allow for police investigations.
