Exciting Weekend Ahead: Brown Women’s Hockey Takes on RPI and Union

Hey everyone, the Brown women’s hockey team is back at Meehan Auditorium for an exciting ECAC weekend against RPI and Union. The Bears have been on fire at home with a 3-0-0 record, securing wins over Holy Cross, Dartmouth, and Harvard. RPI, with a 6-5-3 record, and Union, with a 4-9-1 record, are both gearing up for tough matchups. Brown is looking to bounce back after tough losses to Colgate and Cornell. Senior Olivia Williamson, sophomore Jade Iginla, and freshman Sam Broz have been making their mark on the ice, and sophomore India McDadi is leading the team with five goals. In goal, Senior Kaley Doyle has been a force to be reckoned with, boasting a 2.37 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.

RPI, with a 2-4-0 record in the ECAC, is ready to bring their A-game. Senior Ellie Kaiser leads the team with six goals, and grad student Amanda Rampado has been solid in net with a 2.30 goals against average and .923 save percentage.

Union, with a 1-4-1 record in the ECAC, is also gearing up for an intense matchup. Sophomore Riley Walsh and freshman Maddie Leaney have been standout players for the team, and junior Sophie Matsoukas has been holding it down in goal.
