Angel Cabrera’s Comeback: A Second Chance in Golf

Two-time major winner Angel Cabrera is eyeing a return to professional golf after being released from prison. The 54-year-old spent two-and-a-half years in custody in Brazil and Argentina after being convicted of domestic violence charges. Now, his longtime coach has revealed that Cabrera is playing regularly again and is targeting a comeback to the pro circuit. Despite the challenges he has faced, Cabrera is determined to get his life back on track and make a successful return to the game. His coach believes that Cabrera still has the talent and drive to make a comeback and hopes that he can be the comeback player of the year. While it is unclear how he would reintroduce himself to the professional game, there is hope that he can still win the US Senior Open. As a past Masters champion, Cabrera earned a lifetime invitation to the first major of the year, and it remains to be seen if that invite will be honoured in April.
