Loreto Dominates EY Hockey League with Seventh Consecutive Win

Loreto is on fire in the EY Hockey League! They just won their seventh game in a row, beating Pembroke Wanderers 4-0. Síofra O’Brien scored twice, and Hannah McLoughlin and Aisling Murray also got on the scoresheet. Railway Union is right behind them, winning 4-1 against Ulster Elks. Aébfhinn Bourke, Lisa McCarthy, and Niamh Carey put them 3-0 up, and Carey added another goal before Ulster Elks got a consolation score. Catholic Institute also had a great win, beating Old Alexandra 3-1 with goals from Sarah Fitzgerald, Naomi Carroll, and Ciara Moloney. Monkstown secured a victory against Corinthian, and Pegasus had a tough time, surrendering a 2-0 lead to UCD who scored twice in the last eight minutes to draw the game.
