Ole Fevold is all set to hit the ice with the Rochester Century/John Marshall boys hockey team for their first practice of the 2023-24 season. It’s going to be a co-op practice, and Ole is feeling pretty good about it. He’s coming off a high note from his last game with the Rochester Grizzlies, where he scored his first junior hockey goal in a convincing 6-1 win against Willmar. The goal came in the third period with just under 5 minutes left, and it was assisted by Cam Schneider and Gavin Mears. Ole had a great season last winter as a sophomore at John Marshall, scoring 16 goals and 36 points. Now, he’s looking forward to re-joining the NA3HL club after the high school season, even if it’s just for practice.
The Grizzlies are on a roll, with a 13-2-1 record and sitting comfortably in first place in the NA3HL West. In their recent game, Nick Kurtiak made 24 saves, Maksim Lakic scored twice, Gavin Mears had a goal and an assist, and Matt Haun continued his impressive points streak with three assists. The team’s winning streak has now reached five games, and they’re gearing up for their next home games against Willmar and the Mason City Toros.
It’s an exciting time for the Grizzlies, and Ole Fevold is ready to bring his A-game to the ice. Stay tuned for more thrilling hockey action as the Grizzlies continue to dominate the NA3HL.
