Josh Bascoe Has Been Named The Bison Of The Week After Coming Through As A ‘Super Sub’ For The Bucknell Men’S Basketball Team In The First Week Of The 2023-24 Season. This Dude Really Stepped Up And Made A Big Impact Off The Bench, And Now He’S Getting Some Well-Deserved Recognition For It. Bascoe Dished Out Eight Assists In The Season Opener Against Delaware, And Then He Went On To Score 10 Points In The Next Game Against Penn At The Palestra. But Wait, He Wasn’T Done Yet! In The Game Against Niagara, He Went All Out And Scored A Career-High 15 Points In Just 19 Minutes Off The Bench. Talk About Making The Most Of Your Time On The Court!
Bascoe Was On Fire Against The Purple Eagles, Shooting 5-For-7 From The Field And Hitting All Three Of His 3-Point Attempts. And Get This, 12 Of His 15 Points Came In The Second Half, Including Two Clutch Shots That Really Made A Difference In The Game. His Third Three-Pointer Of The Night Extended A Five-Point Lead To Eight With Just Over Two Minutes Left On The Clock. Then, When Niagara Answered With A Three, Bascoe Drove To The Rim For A Scoop Shot, Making It 67-60 With 1:35 Remaining. And To Top It All Off, He Nailed Two Free Throws With 31 Seconds Left, Finishing With A Perfect 10-For-10 From The Charity Stripe In The Final Four Minutes. Now That’S What I Call A Game-Changer!
So Far This Season, Bascoe Is Averaging 8.3 Points In 22.2 Minutes Per Game, And He’S Leading The Team With 13 Assists And Only Five Turnovers. That’S Some Impressive Stats Right There!
The Bison Are Still On The Road For A Four-Game Trip, With Upcoming Games At La Salle And Duke. Let’S See If Bascoe Can Keep Up The Momentum And Continue To Make An Impact For The Team.
