The Morecambe Girls’ Football Club Has Been Awarded The Prestigious King’S Award For Voluntary Service, And They Are Absolutely Thrilled About It! This Award Is A Big Deal, Like The Equivalent Of An MBE. The Club Is All About Promoting Physical And Mental Wellbeing Through Girls’ Football, And They’Re Over The Moon To Be Recognized For Their Hard Work. They’Re Not Just A Football Club; They’Re A Community Where Girls Feel Safe, Make Lifelong Friends, And Have An Escape From The Rest Of The World. The Club Is Grateful To Everyone Who Has Contributed To Its Success, Including The Amazing Coaches, Helpers, And Volunteers. The Award Ceremony Will Be Held At County Hall In Preston, Where The Club Will Receive A Certificate Signed By The King And An Exclusive Commemorative Crystal. In Addition, Two Volunteers From The Club Will Be Invited To Attend A Garden Party At Buckingham Palace In 2024. This Recognition Is A Testament To The Outstanding Work Of Volunteer Groups, And It’S A Reminder Of The Positive Impact Volunteers Have On Their Local Communities. The King’S Award For Voluntary Service Was Created To Celebrate The Late Queen’s Golden Jubilee, And This Year’S Winners Truly Embody The Spirit Of Volunteerism. It’S Fantastic To See Volunteers Making Life Better For Those Around Them, And The Morecambe Girls’ Football Club Is A Shining Example Of The Power Of Community And Volunteerism.
