Unveiling the Fighters of Tekken 8

Tekken 8 is just around the corner, and Bandai Namco has finally unveiled the complete lineup of characters for the game’s launch roster. With a whopping 32 characters to choose from, there’s a mix of familiar faces and exciting newcomers to get hyped about. Let’s take a closer look at some of the standout fighters and what they bring to the table.

First up, we have Azucena, a Peruvian MMA fighter who is set to make her debut in Tekken 8. Known for her love of coffee farms, she’s on a mission to promote her own blend and help the Ortiz family’s business thrive by winning the next King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Next, we have Victor Chevalier, a brand new French character with a striking resemblance to an anime John Wick. Armed with close-range gun and sword attacks, he’s sure to bring some intense action to the arena.

Reina, the most recent addition to the roster, is shrouded in mystery. Nicknamed Purple Lightning, she relies on rapid, electrically charged kicks to dominate her opponents in battle.

Of course, we can’t talk about Tekken without mentioning the iconic Kazuya Mishima. With his signature Electric Wind God Fists becoming easier to execute when he’s in Heat mode, Kazuya remains a force to be reckoned with.

Jin Kazama, the protagonist of Tekken 3, continues his ongoing feud with his father, Kazuya. Their rivalry is a core element of the Tekken storyline, and it’s set to escalate further in Tekken 8.

Joining the lineup is Jun Kazama, Jin’s mother, who is making a return to the spotlight after a long absence. Her presence adds another layer of depth to the game’s narrative.

King, the Mexican wrestler with the distinctive jaguar mask, is a familiar face in the franchise. Known for his powerful command grabs, he’s a fan favourite and a formidable opponent.

Paul Phoenix, the hot-headed American brawler, brings his fiery punches to the ring once again. Despite his rugged appearance, he’s still a force to be reckoned with.

Marshall Law, the Bruce Lee homage, showcases his iconic moves in Tekken 8, including his signature flip kicks and one-inch punches.

Jack-8, the robotic powerhouse, returns to deliver devastating haymakers and launchers, making him a formidable adversary.

Lars Alexandersson, the protagonist of Tekken 6, teams up with his half-brother Jin to take on Kazuya and strive for world peace. His agility and speed make him a versatile combatant.

These are just a few of the characters that players can look forward to in Tekken 8. With a diverse roster and a wealth of fighting styles to explore, the game promises to offer an exhilarating experience for fans of the franchise.

Tekken 8 is set to launch on January 26, 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, so mark your calendars and get ready to join the battle!
