Dinos Basketball Drama: Players Booted for Game-Fixing Scandal

The Yulon Luxgen Dinos, a semi-pro basketball team, has given the boot to some of its players who are being investigated for fixing games. The team made it clear that they won’t go easy on players who break the law, and they’ve already cut ties with the suspects. The players in question include Chiu Chung-po, Chen Pin-chuan, Huang Hsuan-min, Wu You-jen, Yen Wen-tso, Chou Wei-chen, Lee Chi-en, Senegalese player Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Sarr, and SBL MVP Ko Min-hao. The Dinos are also teaming up with the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association to make sure their players understand the rules and how to behave. Ko has been detained, while the others were released on bail. The Senegalese player is not allowed to leave the country while the investigation is ongoing. This all started when former player Wu Chi-ying was linked to game-fixing in the news. The prosecutors and police have been busy raiding places and questioning people, and it looks like the suspects were involved in betting on games and helping others place bets with underground bookies. The prosecutors are also checking if the suspects broke any fraud and gambling laws. It’s a big mess, and the Dinos are taking a hard stance on this. Stay tuned for more updates!
