Morehead State Eagles’ Dominant Victory Over Ohio Bobcats

The Morehead State Eagles demonstrated an impressive performance in a commanding 89-60 victory over the Ohio Bobcats. Standout performances from Valentina Saric and Matilda Soderlund, who set new career highs with 18 and 15 points respectively, as well as significant contributions from Katie Novik, Melissa Secchiaroli, and Blessing King, led the Eagles to victory. The team’s dominance on the boards, out-rebounding Ohio 42-31, and their ability to convert defensive efforts into points by forcing 29 turnovers from Ohio, were key factors in their success.

In the first quarter, Morehead State asserted its authority after falling behind, mounting a 6-0 run to take a 13-12 lead.
