The 2024 LIV Golf League schedule has been officially announced, and it includes new and exciting locations. The season will commence with the LIV Golf Mayakoba at El Camaleon Golf Club from February 2nd to 4th. Following this, the league will make its debut in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Country Club from February 8th to 10th. There are also plans for new cities including Hong Kong in March, and tournaments in Houston and Nashville in June. While this marks an exciting new lineup, some of the 2023 locations will no longer be on the schedule, such as Orlando, Tucson, Washington DC, New Jersey, and Chicago in 2024.
The longstanding tradition of the UK event, held for the past three years, will no longer take place at the Centurion Club in London. Instead, it is set to be hosted at the JCB Golf and Country Club. Mexico’s opening event will compete against the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a signature event of the PGA Tour.
Although some venues from the previous season are retained, their timing will be altered. Valderrama for LIV Golf Andalucia, previously scheduled for April in 2023, will now take place in July, the week before The Open at Royal Troon. Similarly, LIV Golf Greenbrier will be held in August, coinciding with the first week of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs.
The venues for the third event in Saudi Arabia and the fifth event in the United States are currently unconfirmed. Additionally, the locations for the season-closing Team and Individual Championships remain to be confirmed. Moreover, it is uncertain whether the Florida-based Trump National Doral will be part of the 2024 season.
Greg Norman, CEO of LIV Golf, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, underlining the league’s commitment to bringing world-class players and premier competition to both new and repeat markets. He also announced the addition of an Individual Championship for the 2024 season, marking a significant first for LIV Golf.
