Skoda has unveiled a novel service known as Pay to Fuel, enabling motorists to make direct fuel payments from their vehicles. This innovative functionality is presently accessible in specific countries and on designated Skoda models. Through the utilization of the car’s infotainment screen, drivers can select a compatible station and settle the payment using a debit or credit card. Presently, this service is limited to six countries, namely Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Skoda has intentions to broaden its availability to other markets in the foreseeable future. As of now, the service is exclusively offered on Skoda ICE vehicles equipped with the Amundsen or Columbus infotainment systems. Nevertheless, it remains uncertain whether this feature will be extended to include France and other vehicles within the Volkswagen Group.
