Western Michigan University’s ice hockey team has demonstrated an impressive winning streak, securing four consecutive victories with a remarkable sweep of St. Lawrence over the past weekend. This outstanding performance has propelled WMU to the 14th position in the latest national polls, marking a significant rise in their rankings. The USCHO poll positioned WMU at No. 14, surpassing New Hampshire in the rankings. Likewise, in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll, the Broncos maintained their position at No. 15. Notably, among NCHC teams, WMU stands alongside North Dakota, Denver, St. Cloud State, and Omaha as one of the teams featured in at least one poll. Looking ahead, WMU is gearing up to extend their winning streak as they prepare to host Lindenwood for a two-game series in Kalamazoo this weekend. The upcoming games are scheduled to commence on Friday, December 1 at 7 PM inside Lawson Arena.
