The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has officially unveiled its 2024 regular-season schedule, which will run from January 1 to May 5, 2024. The inaugural season will feature a total of 72 games, with each of the league’s six teams competing 24 times.

The games are scheduled to take place at various venues and times throughout the week, providing multiple opportunities for fans to witness the action. According to Stan Kasten, a PWHL Advisory Board member, the league is excited to kick off the season on New Year’s Day and inaugurate a new era for professional women’s hockey.

Eight venues will host the majority of PWHL games this season, with Toronto set to host the first game in league history on New Year’s Day. Additionally, the league will showcase its top talent at the NHL All-Star Thursday and the Canadian Tire PWHL 3-on-3 Showcase as part of the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend.

The regular season will span 51 different dates, including standalone matchups, days with two games, and two days with all six teams in action. The schedule is designed to cater to fans of all ages, with a minimum of 28 afternoon puck drop games.

Each team will face off a minimum of four times, with the schedule ensuring that American and Canadian teams will compete five times against other teams in their country. The season will also pause in February for an IIHF National Team Break, and in April for the IIHF Women’s World Championship, followed by the start of the playoffs in the week of May 6.

Season ticket memberships will be available for purchase starting on December 4, with early access offered to fans who have placed ticket deposits. In addition, single-game, group tickets, and half-season plans in select markets will be made available as well.

The PWHL encourages fans to stay updated on ticket information by subscribing to the PWHL e-newsletter. The league has also provided a specific schedule for the Minnesota regular season games at the Xcel Energy Center, subject to change.

Fans can follow the PWHL on all social media platforms, including team-specific accounts for Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa, and Toronto.
