Leading the charge was Lichonthung Odyuo, who claimed the gold medal, closely followed by Akivito H Yephtho, who secured the silver medal in the Bantamweight category. Additionally, Thanmi Angkang and Neichulie Kuotsu achieved bronze medals in the flyweight and lightweight divisions, respectively. The championship, held at The Fit Expo 2023 in Kolkata from December 1 to 3, was conducted under the patronage of the All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation (AIMMAF).
The talented warriors, specifically Akivito H Yephtho, Lichonthung Odyuo, Abemo Ezung, Neichulie Kuotsu, and Thanmi Angkang, are all products of The Combat Academy Nagaland.
