St. Dom’s Boys Basketball Continues Undefeated Streak After Win Over Telstar/Gould

St. Dominic Academy’s boys’ basketball team continues to maintain an undefeated record this season following their decisive 76-29 triumph over Telstar/Gould. The game witnessed an outstanding display of skill from freshman Kai Taylor, who led the Saints with an impressive 18 points. Additionally, Taylor Varney made a significant contribution to the team’s victory, tallying 14 points.

In another compelling match, the Dirigo Cougars secured a 68-40 win against North Yarmouth Academy, with Travis Wright leading the charge with an exceptional 21-point performance. Moreover, Forest Hills emerged victorious with a 65-52 win over Buckfield, with key players Blaine Nadeau and Cooper Deagle demonstrating commendable leadership on the court.

The Lincoln Academy boys’ basketball team also secured an 84-23 victory over Lisbon, owing to standout performances by Gabriel Hagar, Lucas Houghton, and Drew Hunt. Similarly, Leavitt High School dominated their match against Poland with a resounding 81-44 win, driven by the formidable trio of Zack Wallingford, Aiden Turcotte, and Colin Schlobohm.

Meanwhile, in girls’ basketball, Spruce Mountain secured a 49-29 win against Morse, with Jayden Pingree delivering an exceptional performance, garnering an impressive 23 points. The Lincoln Academy girls’ team also emerged victorious in their game against Lisbon, with Mariam DeLisle leading the team to a commanding 64-8 win.

Furthermore, the Brunswick girls’ basketball team continued their winning streak with a 47-38 victory over Edward Little, propelled by the outstanding efforts of Kyra Fortier and Lexi Morin. Similarly, Gray-New Gloucester dominated the court, securing a 66-38 win against Lake Region, with Ella Kenney and Izzy Morelli delivering standout performances.

In girls’ hockey, Brunswick reigned supreme with an 8-0 victory against Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Medomak Valley, powered by a hat trick from Lauren Labbe. Allie Tathum, Natalie Perham, Gillian Countway, and Lisi Palmer also made significant contributions to Brunswick’s decisive win.
