The Waterville boys basketball team secured a thrilling victory against Belfast with a final score of 64-49, highlighted by Derek Couture’s impressive 26-point performance. Elijah Cullen added 13 points and Chris Nawfel contributed 10 points, consolidating the team’s overall effort and securing the win for Waterville, now with a record of 2-6. Gabe Lash contributed significantly to the team’s success with 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Mason Nguyen added 12 points to ensure the win for Medomak Valley. On the opposing side, Keenen Clark led the charge for Erskine Academy with 18 points, and Tristan Anderson showcased his sharpshooting skills, scoring 14 points, including four 3-pointers.
