Wales winger Louis Rees-Zammit has opted to transition from rugby to American football, making the decision to pursue a career in the National Football League (NFL).

His former rugby club, Gloucester, has granted the 22-year-old release from his contract to participate in the International Player Pathway programme, which aims to facilitate his entry into an NFL team.
