Sustainable Golf Fashion Brand, Reflo, Introduces Spring/Summer 2024 Line

Reflo, a sustainable performancewear brand that entered the market in November 2021, has garnered attention in the fashion industry due to its distinctive approach to crafting technical apparel. This brand, specializing in golf attire, recently revealed its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2024 Collection.

Reflo’s distinguishing feature lies in its use of sustainable materials, such as recycled polyester, which transforms single-use plastics and discarded coffee grounds into high-quality, performance-oriented clothing. In fact, Reflo’s fabrics necessitate 50% less energy and emit 70% less carbon than virgin polyester, all without the requirement for new oil.

The Spring/Summer 2024 Collection prioritizes versatility, performance, and style by offering lightweight and breathable fabrics tailored for a variety of sporting activities. This aligns with Reflo’s philosophy of producing multifunctional apparel that transcends individual sports, thereby providing a more pragmatic and sustainable option for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

This new collection comprises 32 items, including polo shirts, t-shirts, shorts, midlayer sweaters, and hoodies, all suitable for activities such as golf, running, gym workouts, and more. The designs aim to facilitate a seamless transition between different sports and everyday wear, incorporating conscious and ergonomic design principles to diminish the brand’s environmental impact.

A highlight of the collection is the Bohai 2.0 polo shirt, the inaugural product to feature Reflo’s innovative ‘Reloop’ initiative. This circular apparel solution enables customers to return their used garments for recycling, representing a significant move towards a more sustainable fashion industry. Furthermore, the brand’s dedication to sustainability is exemplified in products like the Hudson 2.0 and Moana t-shirts, which incorporate coffee grounds in the fabric for odour control and faster drying times.

Besides its sustainable endeavors, Reflo has undergone substantial expansion since its establishment, with its employee base tripling in size during 2023. The brand’s commitment to sustainability was acknowledged with the prestigious Drapers’ Den award. Notably, Reflo has also made substantial progress in reducing its carbon footprint and eliminating single-use plastics from its supply chain.

Co-founder of Reflo, Rory Macfadyen, conveyed the brand’s dedication to innovation and sustainability, remarking, “The SS24 collection is about performance, sustainability, and innovation, designed to be versatile and fit for purpose across multiple sports.”

As part of its environmental mission, Reflo collaborates with Ecologi and the Eden Reforestation Project to plant one million trees within its first five years of operation. Since its launch, the brand has already recycled the equivalent of 505,562 plastic bottles, planted 41,601 trees globally, and offset 368 tonnes of carbon.

The Spring/Summer 2024 Collection is slated for release on January 24th and will be available for purchase on reflo.com. With its steadfast commitment to sustainability and performance, Reflo continues to lead the way towards a more sustainable and stylish future in the realm of sports fashion.
