Under the astute guidance of Dom Di Paola, our current squad has collectively amassed a remarkable total of almost 1300 appearances. Furthermore, since assuming the role of manager for the Hornets in 2015, Di Paola has presided over an impressive 421 matches. This steadfast display of loyalty and commitment is a source of immense pride for us, and we are delighted to underline the noteworthy accomplishments of these exceptional individuals.
In recognition of their outstanding contributions, we recently took the opportunity to bestow tokens of appreciation upon some of our players. This special ceremony took place just prior to our triumphant victory over Potters Bar Town, providing a fitting backdrop for the celebration of these football heroes.
Among those honoured were Duck Tuck, who has made 102 appearances and scored 1 goal, Jack Brivio with an impressive 217 appearances and 31 goals, Charlie Hester-Cook with 103 appearances and 23 goals, and Shamir Fenelon, who has accumulated 116 appearances and netted 30 goals. Also included in the esteemed list of celebrated players are Tom Richards with 117 appearances and 10 goals, Harvey Sparks, who has amassed an astounding 228 appearances and scored 13 goals, and Tom Kavanagh with 103 appearances and 19 goals. Additionally, Lee Harding, with 203 games and 34 goals, and Lucas Rodrigues, presently on loan at Eastbourne Town, with 101 games and 17 goals, were also recognised – albeit not captured in the photographs.
