The most recent girls’ basketball rankings for Class 1A reveal a new top-ranking team, with Flatirons Academy securing the No. 1 position after previously holding the No. 2 spot in last week’s rankings. Additional teams that have maintained their No. 1 position in their respective classifications include Merino, CSCS, Holy Family, Roosevelt, and Cherokee Trail.
It is imperative to recognize that the top 10 in each classification does not impact playoff positioning. Although CHSAA’s Selection and Seeding Index offers insight into how playoff brackets will be determined, the CP Polls offer a comprehensive evaluation of teams ranked based on their skills and performance on the court.
