17 Contenders Vying for the Title of Varsity 845 Player of the Week

The online balloting for the Varsity 845 girls basketball player of the week for January 29-February 4 is now open for participation. We invite you to cast your votes at RecordOnline.com/sports and make your selections as frequently as you wish, until 10 p.m. on Saturday, February 10. We kindly request that voters refrain from using computer bots to cast their votes.

The nominations have been carefully curated from accounts to Varsity 845 and other reputable sources. Qualified contestants are selected from Orange, Ulster, and Sullivan counties, with each school being permitted to nominate only one player each week. Notable previous winners include Zoe Mesuch of Wallkill, Amiah Neails of Monticello, Sam Calahan of Highland and Kathryn Argenzio of Washingtonville.

For boys’ basketball, 15 candidates are currently vying for the title of Varsity 845 player of the week.

To accommodate the large number of candidates this week, the voting process has been divided into large and small-school categories. The winner’s identity will be made public through X.
