On Wednesday, 7th February, a number of district girls’ basketball semi-final matches were played, including Jay versus Freeport, Central versus Paxton, and L.E.A.D. Academy against North Florida Christian.

Florida High put on an impressive performance against Pensacola Catholic in an intense District 1-3A semi-final, securing a 61-33 win and maintaining their lead throughout the game.
The Pensacola girls’ team also delivered a remarkable performance in their semi-final game against Bay, claiming a dominant 47-3 victory and securing a spot in the upcoming championship game.
In addition to the gripping girls’ basketball matches, the boys’ tennis teams of Pensacola Catholic and Pensacola faced off in an exhilarating opening game of the season. Notably, Pensacola Catholic’s boys’ team secured an 8-1 victory, while the girls’ team excelled with a sweeping 9-0 win.
