High School Girls Basketball Standings for Amarillo Area

The regular season for High School girls basketball in the Amarillo area has concluded, with the final standings now available. Below is an overview of how the teams performed in their respective districts.

In District 3-5A, Amarillo High secured an impressive 8-0 record in district play and an overall season record of 32-4. Following closely behind, Tascosa achieved a 6-2 district record and 23-6 overall. Both Plainview and Caprock attained a 3-5 district record, with Caprock holding an 18-10 overall record and Plainview with 13-15.

Moving on to District 3-4A, Canyon led the pack with a 13-1 district record and 24-6 overall. Randall and West Plains were close contenders with 12-2 and 12-3 district records, respectively. Pampa, Hereford, and Perryton also displayed respectable performances in the district.

In District 5-3A, Spearman emerged as the top team with a 9-1 district record and 24-5 overall. Dalhart and Canadian followed suit with 8-2 and 7-3 district records, respectively. Bushland also secured a spot with a 4-6 district record.

Moving to District 2-3A, Idalou showcased its dominance with a perfect 12-0 district record and 27-5 overall. Shallowater and Abernathy followed with 8-4 records each.

District 3-3A witnessed Littlefield leading with a 12-0 district record and 23-6 overall. Following closely were Denver City, Brownfield, and Lamesa, all with 7-5 district records.

In District 1-2A, both Stratford and Wellington achieved an impressive 9-1 district record, with Stratford boasting a 22-7 overall and Wellington achieving a 24-6 overall record. Wheeler and Quanah followed with 5-5 district records.

District 2-2A was dominated by Farwell, with a 10-0 district and an impressive 29-3 overall record. Panhandle and Vega also secured their positions with 8-2 and 6-4 district records.

McLean dominated in District 1-1A with a perfect 10-0 district record and 25-3 overall. Follett and Fort Elliott followed with 7-3 and 6-4 district records, respectively.

In District 2-1A, Valley emerged victorious with a 10-0 district record and 32-2 overall. Silverton and White Deer followed closely with 8-2 and 5-5 district records, respectively.

Finally, in District 3-1A, Wildorado and Texline both finished with an excellent 9-1 district record. Hart and Springlake-Earth also secured their playoff berths.

It’s important to note that in some districts, seeding games are yet to be played. In District 1-2A, West Texas High will face Sanford-Fritch, and in District 2-2A, Wheeler will take on Quanah in the third-place game.
