The most recent Coaches Poll, unveiled on Monday, has disclosed that UConn retains its position at the top, with Arizona, Tennessee, and Alabama all experiencing significant ascents in the rankings.
The current Pac-12 leaders, Arizona, have surged two spots to claim the No. 4 position in the poll. This is their highest ranking since December 26, 2023. The Wildcats are currently on a six-game winning streak and are preparing for a highly-anticipated matchup against Washington State. With a 0.5-game lead in the conference standings, Arizona is focused on maintaining their momentum against the Cougars.
Washington State has entered the Top 25 for the first time since the 2007-08 season, securing the No. 22 spot in the rankings.
Meanwhile, Alabama has climbed two spots to No. 13 after securing impressive victories over Texas A&M and LSU. The Crimson Tide have won six of their last seven games and are currently leading the SEC standings by one game ahead of Tennessee.
Several other teams have also made their way back into the poll after being unranked last week, including San Diego State at No. 19, Texas Tech at No. 23, and TCU at No. 25.
