Young Athletes from Belarus Reign Victorious in Children of Primorye Hockey Tournament

The Children of Primorye winter sports games have concluded with the impressive victory of the U16 Team Belarus in the 3×3 hockey tournament held at the Fetisov Arena in Vladivostok. The young Belarusian athletes demonstrated exceptional talent and determination, securing noteworthy victories throughout the competition.

During the group stage, Team Belarus exhibited remarkable skill on the ice, defeating the teams of Sakhalin Oblast 7-6, Amur Oblast 13-0, and China’s Qiqihar 12-0. Their outstanding performance in the group stage laid the foundation for their continued success in the tournament.

Advancing to the knockout stage, Team Belarus extended their winning streak, overcoming Uzbekistan 6-0 in the quarterfinals and securing a hard-fought victory against Khabarovsk with a close score of 4-3. The inaugural international winter sports games Children of Primorye brought together over 1,000 young athletes from Primorye Territory, the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation, as well as Belarus, China, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Uzbekistan.
