A Night Out with East Knox FFA: A Fun-filled Hockey Evening at Ohio State University

The recent attendance of the East Knox FFA at the OSU FFA Hockey Night at The Ohio State University on Feb. 16 was a resounding success. Adorned in their FFA regalia, nine members from the East Knox chapter were in the company of over 2,000 FFA members from various parts of Ohio at this thrilling event.

The East Knox group comprised Hayden Baker, Aiden Kapper, Dylan Springer, Andy Rettig, Braylon Evans, Kylie Griffith, Hunter Schrienk, Braxton Lahmon, and Will Stokes. These enthusiastic FFA members were treated to a captivating match and bore witness to a riveting 3–2 overtime shootout victory by the hockey Buckeyes against the #4 ranked University of Wisconsin. The atmosphere was electric, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed cheering for the home team.

Despite an unexpected snowstorm that blanketed the area with seven inches of snow during the game, the East Knox FFA members safely returned to Howard. The wintry conditions extended their bus trip back to Howard to a demanding duration of more than two and a half hours, but the group remained in high spirits after experiencing their first-ever live hockey game. It was an unforgettable evening for the East Knox FFA, and they were appreciative of the lasting memories made with their fellow FFA members and advisors.
