Following a series of captivating games, Kim Mulkey’s LSU Tigers and Geno Auriemma’s UConn Huskies have secured the 9th and 10th positions, respectively.
LSU encountered a significant setback in late January, experiencing consecutive losses and drawing criticism from Coach Mulkey regarding the team’s defensive performance. Nevertheless, the Tigers have since rebounded, clinching victories in their last six games, including an impressive triumph over Auburn, featuring a stellar performance by Angel Reese, who amassed 25 points and 20 rebounds.
