Novatech’s decision to utilize 360 ROE Visual Vanish V8T panels to construct a massive 60-metre-wide and 6-metre-high immersive LED wall proved to be a game-changer for the event. According to Ashley Gabriel, Novatech’s sales and marketing director, the choice of the V8T panels was influenced by multiple factors, including the need for a lightweight setup due to the limited rigging capacity of the venue, which features a velodrome covered by retractable seating banks.
Due to this limited load capacity, the V8T panels proved to be the most suitable option, weighing in at a mere 18kg per square meter. Gabriel highlighted that the 1m by 1m tiles of the V8T panels significantly reduced the build time, a critical factor given the tight schedule between the tennis matches and the commencement of the Finals Festival.
Grace Kuo, ROE Visual’s sales director, also emphasized the superior features of the Vanish outdoor panels, including exceptional brightness and contrast, which undoubtedly contributed to the overall visual spectacle of the event.
