With almost a decade of experience with the estate, Burns has demonstrated himself as a significant asset and will now be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the championship golf course and the golf academy.
In his new capacity, Burns is leading the Wokefield Estate’s involvement in Respect in Golf, an initiative established by England Golf. This movement aims to cultivate greater understanding and acceptance of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the sport of golf, ultimately promoting and inspiring these values.
