Maya Vibeto, an exceptional basketball player from ORCS, has been excelling in the Division B all-state scene and is currently a contender for the esteemed title of North Dakota Miss Basketball. With a career milestone of over 2,000 points, Maya has established herself as a formidable presence on the court.
Following a remarkable regular season, Maya has earned numerous accolades, including the title of senior athlete of the year for Division B girls. While awaiting the announcement of North Dakota Miss Basketball, Maya took time to reflect on her journey and the recognition she has received.
“Receiving the senior athlete of the year award for Class B was unexpected. I did not anticipate such honours, but I remained confident that my hard work would yield results. Regardless of the outcome of the Miss Basketball competition, I am deeply thankful for the remarkable career I have had and the guidance of my mentors. It has been a true blessing to play for this team,” Maya expressed.
In addition to her basketball prowess, Maya has committed to playing volleyball for Bismarck State College and has the opportunity to continue her basketball career with the Mystics.
