In his own words, Williams conveyed his deep-seated passion for giving back to the sport he holds dear, “I work within the golf industry and this has given me the chance to give back to the sport I love. I was a junior golfer and our junior organizer in Denbigh made me feel part of the club back then. I think golf is a unique sport to help kids learn social skills as well as playing skills. It is great to see players coming through as part of one team regardless of age and ability, they are part of something that will last a lifetime.”
Williams’ inspiring dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for young golf enthusiasts serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment to the sport. His influence extends beyond honing their playing skills, as he recognises the invaluable social skills that can be gleaned from participating in the sport.
