The Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Tennis Team concluded their season in impressive fashion with a 5-2 victory over Lincoln Memorial, solidifying their campaign with a commendable 9-3 conference record. The team exhibited exceptional skill and determination, resulting in an overall dominant performance.

Throughout the match, all three doubles pairs showcased their prowess with a resounding 6-2 win, earning the first point of the afternoon. The pairs of Dawson Clifford and Alexa Allison, Nellie Wahlberg and Alicia Wahlberg, and Claudia Orsini and Runa Muderrisoglu worked cohesively, securing a clean sweep in the doubles category for the Bears.

Transitioning to the singles matches, Runa Muderrisoglu took early control, achieving a 6-0, 7-5 victory at the No. 1 line. Despite having already secured the result, Claudia Orsini ensured a thrilling finish, winning a three-set thriller and ultimately clinching the fifth and final point of the match. Her tenacity and skill were evident as she secured a hard-fought victory for the team.
