Chief Inspector Scott Small of the Philadelphia Police Department reported that a group of teenagers approached a uniformed police officer, informing them that their 13-year-old friend had sustained a gunshot wound a few blocks away.
The 13-year-old victim received a gunshot wound to the foot and was expeditiously conveyed to the hospital. Fortunately, the injury was restricted to a single gunshot wound. Authorities disclosed that two males discharged 13 shots at a group of six teenagers, with the shooting taking place as the group walked in a driveway. Sadly, a 12-year-old boy who was not involved in the altercation was sitting in an SUV nearby and suffered minor injuries from shattered glass caused by stray bullets.
