Amir Khan and Shahzaib Rind Meet with COAS

Boxing legend Amir Khan and martial arts champion Shahzaib Rind recently had the privilege of meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that General Munir commended both athletes for their remarkable accomplishments in the realm of sports and expressed his unwavering faith in the extraordinary potential of Pakistan’s youth.

Hailing from Balochistan, Shahzaib Rind made headlines after securing victory in the renowned full-contact striking league, Karate Combat, held in the United States. This talented athlete has also clinched the national championship title an impressive six times. Notably, Rind emerged triumphant in a face-off against opponent Rana Singh during the ‘Karate Combat’ event in Dubai on April 21. Despite Singh’s commendable track record in previous matches, the Pakistani karate maestro highlighted the rigorous training and hard work that went into his preparation for the decisive battle.
