The men’s tennis team at Texas Christian University has once again emerged victorious, earning their place in the Final Four for the second consecutive year and the sixth time in the history of the program.
Following their recent 4-0 triumph over Kentucky in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships, the team has solidified their position in the prestigious college tennis tournament. The match, held at the Greenwood Tennis Center on the campus of Oklahoma State, showcased TCU’s impressive performance, with a 26-4 record, as they dominated over Kentucky (27-3), claiming the doubles point and five of the first six sets in singles play.
The shutout victory was sealed with sweeps on courts four and five by Lui Maxted and Sebastian Gorzny, widening TCU’s lead to 3-0. Jack Pinnington and Jake Fearnley’s simultaneous clinch on the top courts further cemented their triumph.
